2016 BLENHEIM SPRING SERIES AWARD PROGRAM
Leading Hunter Rider Awards and WCHR Grand Champion Hunter and High Score Awards are new in 2016!

The owner & trainer of each Overall Grand Champion and High Score Award will also receive special recognition. Additional details in the printed Spring Prize List (on page 21).



NEW HUNTER DERBY SPECIAL AWARDS
This year, Blenheim is presenting new Hunter Derby Special Awards at the 11 total derbies that will be held at 2016 events.

THE PLAID HORSE HIGH SCORE JUNIOR HUNTER DERBY AWARD – To be awarded to the Highest Overall Scoring Junior Hunter Rider from each National Hunter Derby and International Hunter Derby

SHAPLEY’S BEST TURNED OUT AWARD – To be awarded to the Best Turned Out Horse from each National Hunter Derby, International Hunter Derby, and the Blenheim Pony Hunter Derby

HIGH SCORE AMATEUR HUNTER DERBY AWARD – To be awarded to the Highest Overall Scoring Amateur Hunter Rider from each National Hunter Derby & International Hunter Derby

OWNER AWARD – To be awarded to the Owner of the Winning Horse from each National Hunter Derby & International Hunter Derby

EQUITEX TRAINER AWARD – To be awarded to the Trainer of the Winning Horse from each National Hunter Derby & International Hunter Derby

To be awarded during the following Spring shows (11 total derbies in 2016):
• Blenheim Spring Classic II, March 30 – April 3 (USHJA National Hunter Derby)
• Blenheim Spring Classic IV, April 13 – 17 (USHJA International Hunter Derby)
• Showpark Ranch & Coast, May 10 – 15 (USHJA International Hunter Derby)



CHIP IN FOR CHARITY
Brand-new in 2016, Blenheim EquiSports is pleased to present our Chip In For Charity program. Kicking off during the Blenheim Spring Series, every blue ribbon class winner will receive a “chip” that can be used to redeem a first place prize, or to donate the chip’s value to one of the four charities in the program:

LAS VEGAS SPRING CLASSIC – May 18-22, 2016
Join us at the South Point Equestrian Arena, home of The Las Vegas National in November, for the NEW Las Vegas Spring Classic in May!

In addition to multiple Jumper and Hunter Highlight Classes, the Las Vegas Spring Classic features a comprehensive USEF “A-National” Hunter and “Level 4” Jumper schedule, including qualifiers for the North American League (NAL) West Coast Finals, Show Jumping Hall of Fame (SJHOF) West Coast Championships, the NEW $25,000 Interactive Mortgage U25 Finals & the $30,000+ Markel Insurance 1.40 Grand Prix Finals held in November during The Las Vegas National.

Medal Classes, Leading Rider Awards, and High Score Hunter Derby Awards are also being offered.
